Clean lines, a pressed diamond pattern, and a stopper that looks like it was designed by a jeweler. This 1975 Mogen David Deluxe limited edition decanter is one of those pieces that looks far more expensive than it is — and earns a permanent spot on the bar cart the moment you set it down.
The body features an all-over Diamond Point pressed glass pattern, and the stopper takes it further with a variety of additional cuts and facets that catch the light beautifully. The distinctive neck shape gives it a silhouette unlike anything else in the collection. Compact enough for a bar cart, elegant enough for a dinner table. The bottom is embossed "MD-1975."
Originally sold with Mogen David Deluxe Concord Wine, now empty and ready to be filled with whatever you like — whiskey, bourbon, wine, or even water for the table.
Mogen David (now MD 20/20, affectionately known as "Mad Dog") has a surprisingly long history. Founded in 1933 in Chicago by a group of Jewish immigrants, the brand originally produced kosher wines for the community. By the 1960s and 1970s they were issuing premium limited edition decanters like this one — a far cry from their later reputation as a budget wine brand.
